One of only seventy-five UK fish and chip shops to have this MSC certification, The Cod’s Scallops does a huge amount to get the message out about using wild and sustainable fish wherever humanly possible. They hand out leaflets on sustainability to customers and encourage them to try underused species. They are also launching a children’s colouring and activity sheet which will inform young diners on the importance of sustainability – because the sea’s only hope is that the next generation of fish eaters is smarter than the last.
