Many of our ingredients are organic (all of our milk), fair trade (such as our sugar and chocolate), direct trade (such as our illy coffee), and ethically sourced or produced (such as our Tregothnan tea). We have an extensive nurturing and mentoring programme for our team and have an exceptionally high rate of staff retention.”

For a place known as a brilliant spot for evening drinks and food with staggering views over the city and a decent chance of a party in a steepling landmark building, it is wonderful to know that the feet of OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie are planted so firmly in the ground. They have worked to reduce CO2 emissions, have an extremely environmentally friendly kitchen (which won a CEDA award), and have supported the City Harvest charity that distributes surplus food, with donations and staff volunteering. Recently they have increased their vegetarian and vegan offerings to encourage guests to reduce their intake of animal products.
