“We opened the first Honest Burgers in Brixton Village with an ambition to make the best British burgers on any menu. That meant great cuts from great butchers who source the best beef from native British breeds. Seven years on and we’ve now opened our own butchery so we can make the burgers we’ve always dreamed of, from scratch. That homemade passion extends to everything we do – veggie fritters, iced tea, lemonade, pickles, relish, and Honest sauces. And, of course, our chips, too. We season them with rosemary salt then serve them with the burger for free – just because we think that all burgers should come with chips.”

Signature Dishes

Rosemary salted chips fried and seasoned with rosemary, salt, and lemon zest; and “The Honest Burger”: Honest Butcher’s patty with homemade red onion relish, smoked bacon, cheddar, pickled cucumber, and lettuce.

What we say

With so many outlets now, it is wonderful to see Honest Burgers running regular Honesty Box Days, when the community around each restaurant nominates local charities to support, and then pay what they like – all sales from that day being donated to the chosen charities. Their most recent event in Chiswick raised over £2,200 for Ealing Samaritans, St. Mary Abbots Rehabilitation and Training (a local mental health charity), and Bishop Creighton House (supporting elderly people in the community). An example to us all.
