Because they are an inn and restaurant on such a small island, they play a big part in the area’s economy. They employ people who might otherwise have to go long distances for work. “We use only sustainably-caught fish and shellfish“, says owner Blaine Wetzel. “Several of our sources use traditional native practices to fish, with little to zero by-catch and waste, and right outside our door“. It's worth it in every way.
